4. How We Disclose Personal Information

In certain circumstances, we may disclose your personal information to third parties for legitimate purposes subject to this Privacy Policy. Such circumstances may include:

  • With Shopify, our ecommerce platform provider, and other vendors who perform services on our behalf (e.g. IT management, payment processing, data analytics, customer support, cloud storage).

Where you choose to pay using PayPal or a Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) service, your payment information is also subject to that provider's own privacy policy.

5. Advertising, Analytics and Marketing Partners

We use the following third-party services to advertise our products, send marketing communications, measure the performance of our advertising, and understand how customers use our website. These services may collect or receive personal information about you as described below.

Google (Google Ads, Google Shopping, Google Merchant Center, Google Analytics)

We use Google's advertising and analytics services to show you our products in Google Search, Google Shopping, YouTube, Gmail and across other Google surfaces, and to measure how our website and advertising are performing. This involves sharing information such as your device and browser information, IP address, pages viewed, products viewed, and purchase activity with Google. Google may use this information to show you relevant advertising for our products based on your browsing activity, including advertising featuring products you have previously viewed on our website. We also use Google's enhanced conversions feature, which shares a hashed (encrypted) version of the email address you provide at checkout with Google, to help Google more accurately measure purchases resulting from our advertising. You can learn more about how Google uses this information, and manage your ad personalisation settings, at Google's Ads Settings and Privacy Policy.

Meta (Facebook and Instagram, Meta Pixel, and Conversions API)

We use Meta's advertising tools, including the Meta Pixel and Conversions API, to show you our products on Facebook and Instagram, and to measure the performance of that advertising. This involves sharing customer activity data — including pages viewed, products added to cart, and purchases completed — with Meta, using both browser-based tracking (Meta Pixel) and server-side tracking (Conversions API). This may also include sharing hashed contact information (such as a hashed version of your email address or phone number, which cannot be read by Meta in its original form) through a process called Advanced Matching, to help Meta more accurately match your activity to your Facebook or Instagram account for advertising purposes.

You can learn more about how Meta uses this information at Meta's Privacy Policy, and you can manage or disconnect this data from your Facebook account at any time by adjusting your Off-Facebook Activity settings.

Microsoft Advertising (Universal Event Tracking)

We use Microsoft Advertising's Universal Event Tracking (UET) tag to show you our products on Bing and other Microsoft advertising surfaces, and to measure the performance of that advertising. This involves sharing information such as your device and browser information, IP address, pages viewed, and purchase activity with Microsoft, and may be used to build remarketing audiences of visitors who have previously browsed our website. You can learn more about how Microsoft uses this information, and manage your ad personalisation settings, at Microsoft's Privacy Statement and Microsoft Advertising opt-out page.

Microsoft Clarity (Session Recording and Heatmaps)

We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors interact with our website. This involves collecting information such as mouse movements, clicks, scrolling behaviour, and pages visited, to generate session recordings and heatmaps that help us improve the user experience. You can learn more about how Microsoft uses this information at Microsoft's Privacy Statement.

Pinterest (Pinterest Tag and Pinterest Ads)

We use the Pinterest Tag to show you our products on Pinterest and to measure the performance of that advertising. This involves sharing information such as your device and browser information, IP address, pages viewed, products added to cart, and purchases with Pinterest, and may be used to show you advertising for products you have previously viewed on our website. You can learn more about how Pinterest uses this information at Pinterest's Privacy Policy, and manage your ad personalisation in your Pinterest account settings.

Triple Whale (Analytics and Attribution)

We use Triple Whale to measure the performance of our marketing and understand which advertising and channels lead to purchases. Triple Whale uses a tracking pixel on our website to collect information such as pages viewed, products added to cart, purchases, device and browser information, IP address, and the source of your visit (for example, the advertisement or link you clicked). This information may be linked to your order and contact details so that we can understand your journey to purchase. We may also ask you an optional post-purchase survey question about how you heard about us, and your answer is recorded in Triple Whale. Triple Whale processes this information on our behalf. You can learn more at Triple Whale's Privacy Notice.

Klaviyo (Email Marketing)

We use Klaviyo to send marketing and transactional emails, including welcome offers to new subscribers. Klaviyo collects your email address and any other details you provide when signing up, and tracks your interactions with our emails and our website (such as emails opened, links clicked, and pages and products viewed) to personalise the messages we send you. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in any email. You can learn more at Klaviyo's Privacy Notice.

Your Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have a right to opt out of this kind of targeted advertising. You can also manage advertising preferences directly through Google's Ads Settings, Facebook's Ad Preferences, Microsoft's Advertising opt-out page, and your Pinterest account settings, by unsubscribing from our marketing emails, or by using your browser's cookie settings to limit tracking.

6. Relationship with Shopify

The Services are hosted by Shopify, which collects and processes personal information about your access to and use of the Services in order to provide and improve the Services for you. Information you submit to the Services will be transmitted to and shared with Shopify, as well as third parties described in this Privacy Policy, some of whom may be located outside Australia. 7. Third Party Websites and Links

The Services may provide links to websites or other online platforms operated by third parties. If you follow links to sites not affiliated or controlled by us, you should review their privacy and security policies and other terms and conditions. We do not guarantee and are not responsible for the privacy or security of such sites.

8. Children's Data

The Services are not intended to be used by children, and we do not knowingly collect any personal information about children under 18 years of age. If you are the parent or guardian of a child who has provided us with their personal information, you may contact us using the contact details set out below to request that it be deleted.

9. Security and Retention of Your Information

Please be aware that no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and we cannot guarantee "perfect security." We recommend that you do not use unsecure channels to communicate sensitive or confidential information to us.

How long we retain your personal information depends on different factors, such as whether we need the information to maintain your account, to provide you with Services (including honouring warranty periods of up to 24 months), comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce other applicable contracts and policies.

10. Your Rights and Choices

Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles, you have the following rights in relation to your personal information:

  • Right to Access. You may request access to the personal information we hold about you.
  • Right to Correct. You may request that we correct inaccurate or out-of-date personal information we hold about you.
  • Right to Complain. You may make a complaint about how we have handled your personal information (see Section 12 below).

  • Right of Portability. You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Managing Communication Preferences. We may send you promotional emails, and you may opt out of receiving these at any time by using the unsubscribe option displayed in our emails. If you opt out, we may still send you non-promotional emails, such as those about your account or orders.

You may exercise any of these rights by contacting us using the details in Section 13 below. We may need to verify your identity before we can process your request.

11. International Transfers

Some of the third-party service providers described in this Privacy Policy (including Shopify, Google, Meta, Microsoft, Pinterest, Triple Whale and Klaviyo) may store or process your personal information outside Australia. Where we disclose personal information to overseas recipients, we take reasonable steps to ensure that the overseas recipient does not breach the Australian Privacy Principles in relation to that information, as required under APP 8.
