Photo Review Prize Draw – Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions ("Terms") apply to the Outdoor & Co. Photo Review Prize Draw ("Promotion"). By submitting a review through a Promotion invitation, you agree to these Terms. These Terms form part of, and are specific Promotion terms under, section 6 of our Terms of Service. If these Terms and the Terms of Service conflict about this Promotion, these Terms prevail.

1. Promoter

The Promotion is run by OUTDOOR & CO PTY LTD (ABN 63 697 851 175), trading as OUTDOOR & CO ("Promoter", "we", "us").

This Promotion is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Uber, Uber Eats or Judge.me.

2. Promotion Period and Entry Periods

2.1 Promotion Period

The Promotion begins at 12:00am on 1 October 2026 and ends at 11:59pm on 31 March 2027 ("Promotion Period"). All times in these Terms are Sydney time (AEST/AEDT).

2.2 Entry Periods

The Promotion Period is divided into six monthly entry periods ("Entry Periods"). Each Entry Period runs from 12:00am on the first day to 11:59pm on the last day of the calendar month. An entry belongs to the Entry Period in which the review is submitted, whatever the date of the order or the invitation. Entries do not carry over from one Entry Period to another.

Draw dates fall on the fifth business day of the month following each Entry Period. Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding NSW public holidays and the period from 24 December 2026 to 1 January 2027 (inclusive).

3. Who Can Enter

To enter, you must:

  1. be aged 18 years or over;
  2. be an Australian resident;
  3. have placed an eligible order (section 4) delivered to an address within our shipping areas under our Shipping Policy; and
  4. have received a Promotion invitation from us for that order.

The following people cannot enter: employees, officers and contractors of the Promoter, their immediate families (spouse or de facto partner, parent, child, sibling), and anyone involved in running the Promotion or conducting the draws.

4. Eligible Orders and Invitations

4.1 Eligible Orders

An eligible order is an order for products placed on outdoorandco.com.au on or after 1 September 2026 that has been delivered to the customer.

4.2 When Invitations Are Sent

We send one invitation per eligible order, by email from our review provider Judge.me, approximately 14 days after the order's delivery date. The delivery date is worked out as set out in section 1.2 of our Returns and Refund Policy. We apply the same timing to all eligible orders. We do not choose who to invite based on whether we expect a positive or negative review.

4.3 Orders Not Eligible

We do not send invitations for orders that have been:

  1. cancelled;
  2. refunded in full;
  3. returned under our Returns and Refund Policy; or
  4. returned to sender (RTS) and not redelivered.

4.4 Orders With an Open Damage or Defect Claim

If an order has an open transit-damage, defect or warranty claim, we send the invitation approximately 14 days after the claim is resolved (for example, after replacement parts or a replacement product have been delivered). If the claim ends in a full refund or return, the order is not eligible.

4.5 Orders Refunded or Returned After Entry

If an order is refunded in full or returned after the customer has entered but before the relevant draw, the entry is void.

5. How to Enter

To enter, during an Entry Period you must submit a product review using the review link in your Promotion invitation. The review must include:

  1. a star rating;
  2. at least one photo of the product you purchased, taken by you; and
  3. any other information required by the review form.

The review must be submitted by 11:59pm on the 14th day after the date your Promotion invitation was sent, or by the end of the Promotion Period, whichever is earlier. Reviews submitted after this deadline are not entries. The review must use the email address on your order. Reviews submitted by any other method, or without a photo, are not entries. A store (service) review is optional and does not give you an additional entry.

Entry is free. You do not need to make any purchase beyond your original order.

6. Entry Limit

You may have a maximum of one entry per Entry Period, no matter how many eligible orders you placed or reviews you submitted in that Entry Period. We identify customers by email address and order details. Using more than one email address or account to get extra entries will lead to disqualification.

7. Positive and Negative Reviews Treated Equally

  1. Every valid entry has an equal chance of winning. Your star rating and what you write have no effect on whether your entry is valid or on your chance of winning.
  2. We publish reviews under our normal moderation standards, which apply the same way whatever the rating. We may decline to publish, or may remove, a review only if it is not about the product purchased, is offensive, unlawful or defamatory, contains personal information of another person, or is fake or misleading. We do not remove or suppress genuine reviews because they are negative. Whether a review is published does not affect whether it is a valid entry.
  3. Reviews submitted through a Promotion invitation may be labelled on our website to show that the reviewer was offered an entry into a prize draw.

8. The Draws

  1. One winner is drawn for each Entry Period at 11:00am on the draw date in section 2.2.
  2. The winner is chosen by computer-generated random selection from all valid entries received during that Entry Period, subject to section 9.4(d).
  3. We check that the winning entry meets these Terms. If it does not, it is disqualified and another entry is drawn immediately in the same way.
  4. We keep a record of each draw, including the list of entries, the time of the draw, and the result.
  5. If there are no valid entries in an Entry Period, no prize is awarded for that Entry Period.
  6. Members of the public may attend a draw by arranging it with us by email at least 2 business days beforehand. We will confirm the draw location when attendance is arranged.

9. Prizes

9.1 Total Prize Pool

There are six prizes in total: three Product Prizes and three Uber Eats gift cards. The total prize pool is valued at AUD $1,647 (including GST).

For Product Prizes:

  1. Each Product Prize is new and unused.
  2. Delivery is included and is kerbside or doorstep only, to an address within our shipping areas, under our Shipping Policy. Assembly is not included.
  3. Each Product Prize comes with the same warranty (if any) that applies to that product when purchased from us, as if the winner were the original purchaser, with the warranty period starting on the delivery date. Clearance and "as-is" exclusions do not apply to Product Prizes. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law are not affected.
  4. If the winner's address is outside our shipping areas, or the winner cannot accept delivery within 60 days of claiming the prize, the winner may instead choose a digital gift card of the same value as the Product Prize. If the winner declines both, the prize is treated as unclaimed under section 11.

9.3 Uber Eats Gift Card Prizes

  1. Each prize is one AUD $200 digital Uber gift card, redeemable in the Uber Eats (and Uber) app in Australia wherever Uber or Uber Eats operates. It is sent by email.
  2. Uber's gift card terms apply, including that the card expires three years after activation, is non-reloadable, and cannot be exchanged for cash. A secondary payment method may be needed. See uber.com/legal/gift-cards/en-au.
  3. If Uber Eats is not available where the winner lives, the winner may choose a digital gift card of equal value from another major Australian retailer instead.

9.4 General Prize Conditions

  1. Prizes are not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash, except as set out in sections 9.2(d) and 9.3(c).
  2. If a prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond our reasonable control, we may substitute a prize of a similar kind and equal value, subject to any directions from a relevant regulator.
  3. The prize for each Entry Period is fixed before that Entry Period begins and will not be changed during it, except under section 9.4(b).
  4. A person may win only one prize during the Promotion Period. Entries from a person who has already claimed a prize will not be included in later draws.

10. Winner Notification and Claiming

  1. We will email the winner at the address used for their review within 2 business days after the draw.
  2. To claim the prize, the winner must reply by 11:59pm on the claim deadline in section 2.2 (14 days after the draw). The winner must confirm their name and order number and, for a Product Prize, a delivery address within our shipping areas.
  3. We may ask for reasonable proof of identity and eligibility before awarding a prize.
  4. We are not responsible if the winner does not receive our email because of spam filters, an incorrect email address, or other reasons outside our control.
  5. We will send Uber Eats gift cards within 5 business days of a valid claim, and dispatch Product Prizes within 10 business days of a valid claim (subject to section 9.2).

11. Unclaimed Prizes

If a prize is not validly claimed by the claim deadline, or the winner is ineligible or declines the prize, we will redraw it at 11:00am on the unclaimed prize redraw date in section 2.2, in the same way as the original draw, from the remaining valid entries for that Entry Period. The new winner will be notified under section 10 and will have 14 days from notification to claim. We will repeat this process until the prize is claimed or no valid entries remain.

12. Publishing Winners

We will publish each winner's first name, last initial and state on this page, and may also publish it on our social media, within 7 business days of the prize being claimed. We will only publish a photo of a winner, or refer to a winner's review, with their consent.

13. Licence to Use Your Review

  1. By submitting a review through a Promotion invitation (whether or not it includes a photo, and whether or not it is a valid entry), you grant Outdoor & Co. a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual and irrevocable licence to use, reproduce, publish, display, communicate and adapt your review text, star rating and photos, together with your first name, last initial and state, in any media. This includes our website, social media, email, printed materials and advertising, and the licence continues after the Promotion ends.
  2. We may crop, resize, reformat, excerpt or translate your review content. We will not change the meaning of your review or your star rating, and we will not present your review as anything other than a customer review.
  3. Where we use a review submitted through this Promotion in advertising, we will make clear that the reviewer was offered an entry into a prize draw.
  4. You consent to us doing any of the above, and anything that would otherwise infringe your moral rights under the Copyright Act 1968 (Cth), including publishing your content without full attribution or in edited form under section 13(b).
  5. You confirm that you took the photos you submit, that you have the right to grant this licence, and that anyone identifiable in your photos has agreed to them being published. Please do not include photos that show other people's faces, your house number, car number plates or other personal information.

14. Privacy

We collect your name, email address, order details, review content and, if you win, your delivery address, in order to run the Promotion, verify entries, contact and deliver prizes to winners, publish winners under section 12, and use reviews under section 13. We share this information with our service providers only as needed for these purposes, including Judge.me (reviews), Uber (gift card delivery) and our freight partners (prize delivery). Entering this Promotion does not subscribe you to marketing emails. We handle personal information under our Privacy Policy.

15. Disqualification

We may disqualify any entry, and withhold or recover any prize, if we reasonably believe the entrant has:

  1. breached these Terms;
  2. submitted a fake review, or a photo that is not of the product purchased or was not taken by the entrant;
  3. used multiple email addresses or accounts to obtain extra entries; or
  4. tampered with the entry process or acted fraudulently.

16. Changes and Cancellation

If the Promotion cannot run as planned for reasons beyond our reasonable control (including technical failure, fraud or unauthorised intervention), we may modify, suspend or cancel the Promotion, subject to any directions from a relevant regulator and to obtaining any approval required by law (including the prior written approval of the Gaming and Wagering Commission of Western Australia for any amendment to these Terms). We will post any change on this page. We will not change the prize for an Entry Period once it has begun, except under section 9.4(b).

We keep records of the Promotion, including entries and draw results, for at least 12 months after the Promotion ends.

17. Liability and Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy, or any guarantee, warranty or other term or condition, implied or imposed by the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Subject to that, we are not liable for any loss or damage (including indirect or consequential loss) arising from the Promotion or the prizes, except to the extent caused by our negligence, breach of these Terms, or other unlawful conduct.

18. General

  1. Our decisions on all matters relating to the Promotion are final, and no correspondence will be entered into, except as required by law.
  2. These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that state. This does not limit any law of another Australian state or territory that applies to the Promotion.
